Sulphur Crested Cockatoo For Sale
The Sulphur-crested for sale on our parrot and bird store SuperBirds, Cockatoo is a large white cockatoo. They are the third largest of all the white cockatoos that cannot be easily distinguished from the Long-billed and Major Mitchell’s cockatoos larger than Sulphur-crested cockatoos. The sulphur-crested cockatoo nests in tree hollows, and can become very tame in some areas. It has been reported to breed sympatrically with the Palm Cockatoo, and is also the northernmost of the white cockatoos. The Sulphur-crested Cockatoo is a big white parrot with a distinctive yellow crest, a black top to the head and a pale yellow under-tail. These adorable birds are very affectionate, also playful and highly intelligent. Their main call is an ear piercing shriek and they can mimic many words and sounds. They have exceptional mimicking ability, combined with cunning intelligence that makes them very good at tricking people into giving off food (usually by begging). They have been observed engaging in tool use to obtain food such as using bread as bait.
